The French Institute is the only organisation in Senegal authorized to offer and organize certification or diploma sessions in the French language, to obtain a reliable and rapid assessment of your French skills (TCF-TEF) or, thanks to the DELF-DALF, to validate your current level of French.

This test is intended for all foreigners wishing to acquire French nationality by naturalisation, reinstatement or declaration of nationality by reason of their marriage to a French spouse. The TCF for naturalisation applications meets the new provisions introduced by the French Ministry of the Interior (Decree No. 2019-1507 of 30 December 2019 (link is external) ) setting the required level of French for applicants for naturalisation at B1 (oral and written comprehension and expression tests).

The Institut français puts its multimedia laboratory and its digital media at your disposal to offer you an individual course. A certified teacher from the Institute will accompany you throughout the course.
The French Institute will help you prepare for your exams, diplomas (DELF-DALF) and French language tests (TEF, TCF, etc.) to maximise your chances of success on the day of the tests. A tutor will explain the specificities of each diploma/test and train you so that your university or professional projects become a reality!
